Party Game: To Use For Loosening the Crowd
By: Jack Reider
Throwing a party is one of the most fulfilling feelings that one feels, provided that the party is a big hit and that everyone, or at least most people, enjoy it. As a host, you have to not only see to it that the drinks and food will be not only appropriate, but also enough. Just like you wouldn't want to serve only alcohol for a crowd that doesn't drink, you wouldn't wish for the booze to run out just when the crowd is starting to get into it. Right?
Even though drinks and food are an integral part of a party, the success of the bash depends on an another important feature of every party: the games or entertainment at the party. Just for this purpose, print out the following party game.
1) At the entrance, hand the page out to each guest along with a pencil, and ask them to fill it out.
2) When all are present, ask them to read out the name they wrote against each number.
3) Announce the significance of each name they wrote. And laugh out with them as some are embarrassed, others surprised and the rest baffled.
What Do They Write on the Paper?
On the page you hand them, write the numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Write these numbers in big and bold and in a row so that each number is under the previous one.
Then, to the side of each number, ask them to write as follows:
1) Next to the numbers 3 and 7, they should write names of real people from the opposite sex.
2) Next to the numbers 4, 5, and 6, they should write the names of whoever they wish. These could be family, friends or acquaintances.
3) Next to the numbers 8, 9, 19, and 11, they should write names of songs.
When reading out the results, raise your voice and try and remember at least some of the names that others wrote down. Try and focus on the beautiful men and women because they usually are the center of the crowd before people get acquainted.
The Results:
1) The person they wrote besides the number 3, is the person they are in love with.
2) The person they wrote by the number 7 is someone they love, but can't understand.
3) The number 4 refers to that person whom they care the most about. This is the most important person to each one.
4) The person whose name you have written against the number 5 is the one who knows you the most.
5) The person who will bring you the most luck is the one besides the number 6.
6) The song you wrote besides the number 8 is suitable for the person you wrote at number three.
7) As for the song at number 9. This fits the person you wrote besides the number 7.
8) When you come to the song at number 10, take a break. Then, when the crowd begs you to continue, reveal that the song each one wrote besides 10 reveals the most about each one.
9) And as for the last song situated at number 11, the solution for this is simple. This song symbolizes what each one thinks about life.
Have Fun!

Poker has become world famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore.
Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of each other. The winning hands, though, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of deception.
In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer declares “No more bets.” At that point, both you and the bank (dealer) and of course all of the other players receive five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you must either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s value is equal to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes directly to the bank.
After the bet comes the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus an amount equal to the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
• Even for a pair or high card
• 2-1 for two pairs
• 3-1 for three of a kind
• 4-1 for a straight
• 5-1 for a flush
• 7-1 for a full house
• 20-1 for a four of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• 100-1 for a royal flush
For your convenience these are listed from the lowest possible winning hand to the highest, which is why the payouts for the hands lower on the list are at such an increased percentage.
If the bank has ace/king or better and you cannot beat the bank’s hand, then they win and you lose both your ante and your bet. To start the next round of betting, you only need to place the next ante and start all over.
There are several rules, which must be observed at all times at the tables. These include:
• Only one hand per player. No player may hold or wager on multiple hands at the same time.
• No communicating or exchanging card information with any of the other players, or with the dealer. This will result in an immediate forfeiture of wagers and a dead hand.
• Incorrect number of cards to a player results in a dead hand for that player only, and the wager is returned.
• The decisions of the table and/or casino or floor supervisor are final and not subject to dispute.
• A misdeal shall result in all hands being made void, and the deck shuffled.
• Each player must keep his or her cards in sight of the dealer at all times. Once the player has looked at his or her cards, they should be returned to the layout on the table and not be touched again until the time comes to turn the hands.
• If a hole card is exposed prior to the dealer announcing “No more bets”, all hands are made void.
If you are getting interested in playing Caribbean stud poker, then by all means phone a couple of friends and set up some time to teach them to play. You will all have plenty of fun learning and playing together. If you don’t know anyone else who would like to play with you, you could try playing Caribbean stud poker online. There are a large number of online casino and gaming web sites, and many of them offer Caribbean stud poker. Play for free until you get the hang of the game, and then play for real money if you so desire.
Casinos also offer Caribbean stud poker, so once you get the hang of the game, it might be fun to make an excursion to the nearest casino and test your skills against a live dealer. A good tip for Caribbean stud poker, though, is that when you play the house, the house wins. The odds are stacked against you in the long run in one-on-one games like this, so play with caution.
A few extra tips before we send you on your way:
• Read all the rules and limits at a table before you sit.
• The odds are on the house. Determine if the price is worth the pleasure of the game.
• Never try to bluff a hand. This is not a bluffing game.
• Payout odds can vary from casino to casino, so verify your odds before playing.
And now that you know the rules and tips of Caribbean stud poker, go out there and win yourself some money and have yourself some fun. If you keep in mind that gambling is about having a good time, you will be the ultimate winner. Best of luck!

Exclusive Interview: So You Think You Can Dance's Sandra Colton
Exclusive Interview: So You Think You Can Dance's Sandra Colton
By: Groshan Fabiola
Life after So You Think You Can Dance certainly hasn’t been dull nor dark for booted finalist, Sandra Colton. In the competition, Sandra was known mostly for her tap dancing talent, but she realized after her elimination that she showed only one of the many gifts that she possessed. Aside from tap, Sandra is also adept at performing hip-hop and jazz, and most recently, she released her debut album, Just Dance. All of the songs were written by Sandra (with the exception of one chorus), and since the release of Just Dance, she has been working extra hard in gaining exposure for her album. Among the songs in Just Dance are “Strut,” “Sugar,” “Boom Crack,” “Be Free” and “Signature.”
With a background in Journalism from the University of Oregon, Sandra came out with her own web magazine entitled Original Girl. The magazine was created for young females who are in the process of completing their tertiary education. Each issue contains a variety of articles that talk about the latest in clothes, the entertainment industry and technology. Most importantly, the magazine also serves as a manual for students with regard to their future careers and money issues. Sandra included the financial guide for students because when she was still in school, she seldom received smart and reliable money advice.
Despite also excelling in things outside of the music industry, Sandra’s great talent in singing and dancing are what will surely bring her far in this world. After all, she has been performing since she was three years old and has spent most of her life honing her skills. In addition, she was a cheerleader during college and subsequently became a part of the L.A. Lakers Cheerleading Squad. The music of another former Laker Girl, Paula Abdul, was among those that Sandra enjoyed listening to during her formative years.

Stargate Actor Guest Stars on 24
Stargate Actor Guest Stars on 24

Actor Michael Shanks takes a break from his anthropologist character on Stargate SG-1 to get a taste of some action on the award-winning series 24 on the episode 1:00 AM–2:00 AM, which will be aired on April 30. His participation on the series 24 will be seen in four episodes, which is part of an arc for season 6.
Shanks will be playing a role different from his Dr. Daniel Jackson role on Stargate Sg-1 as he will be portraying Mark Bishop who is a political lobbyist. Aside from playing a political lobbyist, he will be involved in a secret relationship with Lisa Miller (Kari Matchett), who is the assistant of Vice President Noah Daniels (Powers Boothe). One thing that’s unique about Shank’s participation on 24 is the romantic plot he brings with him, which is something fans hardly ever see on the action-packed series. In fact, this is something that the crew feels awkward about, being giggly and bashful while filming some love scenes.
But overall, he feels pleased to have worked with someone like Matchett. He said, "It was nice to work with somebody like Kari in that kind of capacity, because there was already a rapport there. We're friends from long ago, so it's easier than 'Hello, stranger, nice to meet you. By the way, I'll be taking your clothes off.' There's always an awkwardness on day one."
But even if Shank’s inclusion on 24 is only for a brief period, he considers his work load to be very hectic, unable to squeeze in some time for shooting some scenes for his current project Stargate: Continuum DVD. And although Shanks will appear in at least four episodes of 24, the 36-year old actor will not be doing any scenes with counter terrorist agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), which hints that he is quite far away from danger and will most likely not be killed during his inclusion.

The Bachelor: Paris' Sarah Stone Maintains A Platonic Relationship with Travis Stork
The Bachelor: Paris' Sarah Stone Maintains A Platonic Relationship with Travis Stork
By: Groshan Fabiola
Everyone gets the chance to go through a life-changing experience, but not everybody gets to do it in Paris, so it is only right that The Bachelor winner Sarah Stone feels grateful for being given the chance to not only fight for her possible life partner, but also to spend week after week in the romantic French capital city.
In talking about finding the possible life partner, much emphasis must be put on the word “possible,” as Stone and Bachelor Dr. Travis Lane Stork announced their break up fourth months after the eighth season of the show wrapped up. Utterly sad but true; even his good looks and medical degree were not enough to convince Stone to maintain the relationship.
Given the short period of time that Stone and Stork did spend as a couple, is it fair to say that what transpired in television was nothing more than another attempt to win the attention of the millions of hopeless romantics out there? Probably not, judging by how Stone explained the rationale behind their break-up. Apparently, Stone and Stork had a wonderful time together in Paris, but when they returned to the United States, everything seemed to just fall out of place. So, it wasn’t so much that their relationship wasn’t real, it was more the fact that Paris did not provide a more realistic environment for their relationship to thrive in. This makes total sense since a good number of people often escape to romantic places such as Paris to rekindle passion and excitement with their respective partners. The problem for Stone and Stork was they weren’t trying to rekindle anything; they were trying to embark on a new beginning, and laying the foundation on a totally romantic but escapist environment doesn’t always do good to a relationship.
Nevertheless, breaking up doesn’t equal to falling out, and Stone claimed that she will maintain a friendly bond with Stork, which means that there may still be hope for a reconciliation.

Exclusive Interview: Mookie Lee, 11th Survivor Voted Off
By: Groshan Fabiola
Another Survivor contestant was voted off and he comes in the form of Mookie Lee. In an interview with BuddyTV, he spoke about his journey on the popular competitive reality program.
Lee, a 25-year old native of Seoul, Korea, studied actuarial science and finance at the University of Illinois. At present, he resides in Chicago and works as a computer program manager.
Although he was familiar with Survivor, he was not an avid supporter of the show. In fact, he was not expecting to be cast on Survivor: Fiji. As for his elimination, he expected to be axed the moment Edgardo left the tribal council. But if Dre "Dreamz" Herd had remained to be part of "The Four Horsemen" alliance, things would have worked out better.
He also mentioned that he believes karma will play a significant part in everything, emphasizing the consequence of Dreamz’s action. Lee also observed Dreamz as a player who did not strategize his game plan, thus he only fought and decided on things as the situation arises. This also accounted for his backstabbing moves, which might be quite unfortunate in the future when people on the jury have to decide and vote for the winner of one million dollars.
Despite his defeat, he considered his experience on Survivor as a very pleasing experience. Although there were some things that he did not agree with in terms of editing, he concurred with the program’s editing of the show and his participation. He also wished that there were some fun parts and conversations that were not omitted on the broadcast. Overall, he was satisfied with everything that transpired.
As of the moment, he is busy with his work, as well as with new endeavors such as a charity event and other organized events. He is also set to sponsor a sporting event.

Jordin Sparks Now Favored to Win American Idol
Jordin Sparks Now Favored to Win American Idol
By: Groshan Fabiola
With a popular show like American Idol, people are bound to be enthralled with all the hype and drama of the program, whether it’s discovering the fresh promising raw talents or just the mere excitement of finding out who the next American Idol will be. With the near culmination of the sixth season of American Idol, many are taking advantage of a lucrative opportunity to earn some money by predicting the Idol winner and betting online, which seems to be a fad akin to almost all top-rating reality competition shows.
Among the six contestants remaining on American Idol, Jordin Sparks appears to be the top contender for majority of the online betting crowd. Followed by Melinda Dolittle, Blake Lewis, Lakisha Jones, Chris Richardson and Phil Stacey.
Does Jordin Sparks really have what it takes to be the next American Idol?
American Idol is not the first exposure to the limelight of the 17-year old native of Phoenix, Arizona. In fact, she has been through several singing competitions prior to her pursuit of American Idol season 6. She has also acquired numerous awards like America’s Most Talented Kids, The Proof Is In The Pudding Talent Winner, Spotlight Winner & Country/Southern Gospel First Place Winner, and Coca Cola Rising Star just to name a few. In addition to her singing career, she has also ventured in acting, performing in several plays, and modeling, wining the Next Plus-size Model search. Not bad for a youngster.
Overall, the order of the remaining six contestants appears to be realistic, based on their performance and standing at present. At any rate, it is still quite unreliable to believe the results of the online betting world as these are erratic and may consist of some odd conspiracies cooked up by the VoteForTheWorst crowd or other anti-American Idol groups.
